VOC – EUROPEAN DIRECTIVE 2004/42/CE

By January the 1st 2007, European Directive 2004/42/CE obliges producers of paints and coatings to apply a label on evry packaging reporting the type of product, VOC limits for that kind of product, and the values of the product they are selling.

It is not possible to simply calculate the values; it is necessary to perform a test based on norm ISO 11890-2 and ASTM 2369 for cathalitic products.
